Dedicated to the world's coastlines

For the Fondation du Littoral, coastal areas are a unique combination of all that is remarkable as well as fragile - a world under threat as well as a source of hope for our planet. In partnership with those who live and work in these areas, the Foundation wants to promote just and sustainable development for coastal areas.

The Fondation du Littoral is a nonprofit organization, created by Groupe LMBO in 2005 with the authorization of the Prefecture of Paris dated 11 May.
It undertakes development projects for coastal areas, based on Groupe LMBO's know-how and experience in creating, transmitting and enhancing value for companies. It works to promote or assist with projects by local players that aim to bring economic value to these areas in a balanced manner. The Foundation works to develop exchanges and solidarity among those players on the long-term basis.

The Fondation du Littoral works in partnership with the French Littoral Protection Agency (Conservatoire de l'espace littoral et des rivages lacustres), a public organization with responsibility for the protection of France's coastal areas through land acquisition.
